When you arrive for your treatment, a topical anaesthetic is applied to the treatment area and allowed to sit and take effect for 45 minutes. A small amount of blood is then taken and spun in a centrifuge; this process extracts the plasma, full of growth factors, from your red blood cells.

The plasma is then drawn into syringes and injected into the treatment area with a fine needle. A post-treatment cream is applied. After the application of the topical anaesthetic, the treatment itself takes about 15-20 minutes.

What to Expect Post-Treatment:

After your treatment, you will have some swelling and, possibly, bruising. The extent of these side effects depends on your individual treatment and your body’s response to said treatment. Certain lifestyle choices can increase or decrease these side effects, and these will be discussed with you during your initial (complimentary) consultation.

For best results, we recommend three to four treatments at intervals of four to six weeks. The cost of your individual treatment depends on several factors and this will be discussed during your consultation; pricing is also available in our clinic brochure.
