Cheek filler injections are a non-surgical cosmetic procedure which can restore cheek volume & definition, lift the appearance of your cheekbones, and smooth facial wrinkles. These injections target the mid-face, restoring lost volume and enhancing the area around the cheekbones while plumping up wrinkles for a rejuvenated appearance.

Please Note: Dermal filler treatments will be performed up until 2 week prior to international air travel and 48 hours prior to interstate air travel. These measures are to promote patient safety post dermal filler treatment.

What are Cheek Filler Injections?

Facial aging is a natural process that occurs as we get older. It is influenced by both intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Intrinsic factors include genetics, changes in hormone levels, and natural loss of facial fat over time. Extrinsic factors include environmental factors such as sun exposure, pollution, and smoking.
Cheek volume loss is a common sign of facial aging. As we age, we lose facial fat and bone density, which can cause the cheeks to flatten and droop. This loss of volume can result in a sunken, tired appearance. The volume loss in the cheeks can also impact how you appear in the eye area. It can often enhance the volume loss in the tear trough leading to a ‘tired’ appearance.
Dermal filler injections are a popular cosmetic treatment for correcting facial aging and cheek volume loss. They are made from various substances, the most commonly preferred product being a natural occurring sugar that attracts water and can be injected into the skin to add volume and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Cheek fillers work by attracting water which enables support through plumping wrinkles and restoring lost volume to the face. Dermal fillers can be used to enhance the cheeks, improve the ‘tired eye’, reduce the appearance of nasolabial folds (the lines that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth), and add volume to the lips.

What To Expect From Your Treatment

The procedure for cheek filler injections is relatively quick and straightforward, with little to no downtime. However, it is important to note that they are medicines and there are risks involved.

It is important to undergo a medical assessment and consultation so all risks can be thoroughly explained. It is also important to discuss the potential risks and benefits of the cheek filler treatment with a healthcare professional before proceeding.

When you choose Cosmetic Injectables Australia for your cheek enhancement, you can expect a personalised experience tailored to your unique facial structure and aesthetic goals. Our treatments use premium-quality dermal fillers, primarily composed of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin that attracts and retains moisture. This not only helps restore lost volume but also enhances skin hydration and elasticity for a smoother, more youthful appearance.

During your initial consultation, our experienced practitioners will assess your facial anatomy, discuss your concerns, and design a treatment plan tailored to your goals. We’ll explain how dermal fillers can enhance the natural contours of your cheeks, improve symmetry, and rejuvenate your overall appearance.

When Will You See Results

Results are visible immediately after the treatment, with enhanced volume and definition to your cheeks. You may experience slight redness, swelling, or tenderness in the treated area, which is completely normal and usually resolves within a few days. Most clients return to their regular activities on the same day.
